What Does 6-4-6 Mean?
The numbers 6-4-6 describe the fertilizer’s NPK grade: total nitrogen, available phosphate and soluble potash.
6% Total Nitrogen
Includes water-soluble nitrogen and controlled release nitrogen.
4% Available Phosphate

Dual-Release Nitrogen: Fast + Steady
Astevora 6-4-6 contains 5.10% water-soluble nitrogen for fast nutrient availability and 0.90% slow-release nitrogen from polymer-coated urea for steady feeding.
This product should not be described as quick-release-only. It is a dual-release granular fertilizer applied directly to soil.
Guaranteed Analysis and Additional Nutrients
Guaranteed analysis: 6.00% total nitrogen, 4.00% available phosphate and 6.00% soluble potash.
Additional nutrients include 1.00% magnesium, 6.00% sulfur, 0.02% boron, 0.05% copper, 1.00% iron, 0.05% manganese, 0.0005% molybdenum and 0.05% zinc.

Before You Apply
- Read the full product label before use.
- Apply only as directed.
- Do not dissolve this fertilizer in water.
- Apply granules directly to soil.
- Keep fertilizer at least 6 inches from the trunk when feeding in-ground trees.
- Water thoroughly after each application.
- Use half the recommended rate for trees 1–2 years old.
- Avoid applying before heavy rain.
- Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place.
How to Apply Astevora 6-4-6
1. Measure by tree size
For in-ground fruit and nut trees, apply 1 cup per inch of trunk diameter measured at 4.5 ft.
2. Spread under the drip line
Distribute evenly under the drip line. Keep fertilizer at least 6 inches from the trunk.
3. Lightly incorporate into soil
Work lightly into the soil where directed.
4. Water well
Water thoroughly after every application.
5. Reapply on schedule
Feed in-ground trees 3–4 times per year during the growing season. Established containers may be fed every 6–8 weeks during active growth.
Application Rates by Use
Fruit and Nut Trees
Apply 1 cup per inch of trunk diameter measured at 4.5 ft.
Distribute under the drip line, keep at least 6 inches from the trunk, lightly incorporate into soil and water well.
In-Ground Tree Frequency
Apply 3–4 times per year during the growing season.
Young Trees
For trees 1–2 years old, apply half the recommended rate.
Ornamental Trees and Shrubs
Apply 1–2 cups per plant depending on plant size. Distribute around the root zone and water.
Containers Before Planting
Mix 1/2 cup per cubic foot of potting soil.
Established Containers
Apply 2–4 tbsp per gallon of soil every 6–8 weeks during active growth.
