Nitrogen forms include 5.08% ammoniacal nitrogen and 7.92% urea nitrogen. Plant nutrients are derived from urea, monoammonium phosphate, and muriate of potash.

How to Apply Astevora 13-13-13

1. Measure the label rate

Choose the application rate for your plant type or planting area. Do not guess or overapply.

2. Apply directly to soil

Spread granules evenly over the soil surface or around the plant area according to the label directions. Keep granules off stems and leaves.

3. Mix lightly where directed

For garden beds and some planting areas, lightly mix granules into the top layer of soil as directed.

4. Water thoroughly

Water after each application to help move nutrients into the soil.

5. Reapply according to plant type

Follow the label-directed feeding intervals for vegetables, containers, flowers, trees, and shrubs.

Application Rates by Plant Type

Vegetable Gardens

Before planting: apply 1.5–2 lb per 100 sq ft and mix into the top 2–3 inches of soil.

Side-dressing: apply 0.5 lb per 100 sq ft every 4–6 weeks as needed. Keep granules 2–6 inches from stems and away from seeds or roots.

Flowers and Ornamentals

Apply 1 lb per 100 sq ft. Reapply every 8–10 weeks if needed during active growth.

Houseplants and Potted Plants

6–8 inch pot: 1–2 teaspoons.

10–12 inch pot: 1–2 tablespoons.

14–16 inch pot or larger: 3–4 tablespoons.

Use half the standard pot rate for sensitive, tropical foliage, slow-growing, or low-light plants. Feed containers every 4–6 weeks during active growth.

Trees and Shrubs

Apply 0.25 lb per inch of trunk diameter, measured at 4.5 ft. Keep granules at least 6 inches from the trunk. Do not exceed 15 lb per plant per year.

Feeding Schedule

  • Vegetable gardens: side-dress every 4–6 weeks as needed.
  • Houseplants and potted plants: feed every 4–6 weeks during active growth.
